I'm looking to move up in my career and finding it difficult to do so. I'm not sure what I might be missing that would help best improve my resume and my interview skills.

Hi Keith,
I'd be happy to take a look at your resume, I see within your profile that you're aspiring to a security engineering position but you might find more targeted advice if you could share what it is that you're doing now?
- Are there opportunities with your current employer or are you looking to change companies or maybe even industries since security is necessary everywhere?
- Are you a member of any professional organizations that provide networking opportunities so that you can grow your network (and potentially learn about openings) in your local area?
- Does your college or university have a Career Services office and/or a Student Veterans of America chapter that can help advise?
Networking is really important and helpful. It can lead to job opportunities and it can help you get the "lay of the land" to understand roles that you may really like or others that sound good but may not be what you expected or want.
I'm a little confused by your profile since it states U.S. Air Force Airman Basic, 10 years but your profile detail says that you served in the Navy. Hopefully that's not throwing people off and you'll get some additional responses and helpful advise to go along with my thoughts.
Good luck!
Deb
