I feel stuck and stagnant since getting out of the AF (despite just obtaining my MBA). Any ideas or suggestions.... Possibly looking for fellowships in Healthcare Administration or Leadership.

Following up on Rebecca's idea re non-profits, consider non-profits and roles for which you might want to volunteer, and consider applying for a 6-month fellowship with The Mission Continues. The fellowship allows you to work at a non profit and provides training and a cost of living stipend,

Hi Arnaldo,
Looking into non-profits might be a good idea. I know many of them do not appear on the big job search boards like Indeed, Monster etc. It takes a little more leg work to find them and apply for positions but it's worth a shot.
Best,
Rebecca
Arnaldo,
It's fantastic that you have defined a very specific goal. This is a great first step.
Here is some general advice and action items. Use what is useful and feel free to message me directly.
My suggestions / a few potential "action-items":
* request a mentor from ACP. Ask to be matched to someone in the Healthcare field, and ideally someone in a role to which you aspire.
http://acp-usa.org/Mentoring_Program
* ensure your resume and LinkedIn profile are top-notch. If you ask for advice on this board I am confident you will receive offers of assistance
* include the URL for your LinkedIn profile on your profile page
* consider what training, education and certifications you need to reach your goals
* practice and master your "elevator pitch"
https://www.google.com/search?q=elevator+pitch
* seek out and join industry groups, both local groups in your area and groups on LinkedIn
example: http://ahcap.org/about-us
* give back and help other Veterans, non-profits, etc.
Since you have a wll-defined goal these 2 are not as applicable to you, but FYI:
* perhaps perform some form of self-assessment to focus your potential career search
https://acp-advisornet.org/question/725/what-are-best-tools-for-veterans-to-self-assess-their-aptitude-capabilities-and-interestss
* set short term and long-term career and life goals
If you need specific help with any of these "action items", ask on this board. There seem to be many Advisors eager to help. Please keep us informed on your progress and let us know what is the most helpful.
Arnaldo,
* Have you utilized Webster University's carer planning resources and alumni network and clubs? Are they able to help?
