I'm mentoring a Veteran interested in Project Management. The Veteran has experience in Project Management and might be interested in studying for the PMP (Project Management Professional) exam and earning the PMP credential. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks, Tom

All: If interested in Project Management careers or credentials, contacting your local PMI chapter is probably a good step. I heard back from the local Austin PMI chapter:
"Thanks for reaching out and I would be honored to help a veteran. The best opportunity for your veteran contact is to attend one of our PMI meetings. I will try to find people who could provide guidance. It would be great if he or she can attend a PMI meeting. The next meeting is on July 23. Details are on the site: (site no longer available)
Please ask him/her to introduce himself or herself to me and I will try to make further introductions."

Susan,
I am the gentleman Tom was speaking about. I am very interested in obtaining my PMP to add to my toolbox to obtain better employment, or employment period.
Tom,
I am a 21 year Navy/Naval Reserve veteran with a PMP credential. I am in the aerospace industry and happy to help.
Brandin,
