Hi Jorge,

I don't know of any best ways but I do know that USA Jobs posts positions that are looking for veterans. You may want to go there and develop your resume on that job site. Remember not to use military lingo but plain language in the resume.

Now, USA Jobs is just a job posting website. That means they are not the ones hiring, the specific agency will be listed at the end of most announcements in the lower left corner. That's the contact person for the agency. Send them a note or questions because they will have some insights.

Hi Jorge!

Thanks for your service and your question! I wanted to point you in the direction of another similar question, which provides some great advice: https://acp-advisornet.org/questions/3720.

Another question is a bit older but also can be helpful, depending on the government work you're looking for: https://acp-advisornet.org/questions/881.

I hope this helps!
