I am a 52-year-old man that has been in maintenance supervision for over 30 years.
I also have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Pinched nerves going to both of my arms. Any stress, driving for more than 30 minutes at a time, or any work with my hands or above chest level aggravates the TOS and increases my pain level.
My current job is great because it is stress-free and only computer work. Not typing a lot just researching information and creating small reports. But the problem is that I have a 75 miles one-way drive to work each day. The job has to be renewed every year, so it is not a job that I would sell the house and move for.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I have a list of several home-based employment opportunities. slmathews99@gmail.com
Hello Stephen,
Perhaps you've done this, but would asking your current employer to allow working from home be feasible -- if not full time, then X times a week?
Conversely, would they know of a similar employer closer to where you live?
Good luck,
