I am 36 years old, currently in an entry level consulting position at Accenture and am looking to make a move into strategy consulting. Any advice?

Hi Thomas,
Firstly, I wouldn't call 36 old at all, so you may not want to lead with that. Deloitte has lots of strategy consulting positions available and it sounds like you're already getting some experience working at Accenture. If you'd like, you can send your resume along and I'd be happy to look at it.
Best,
Andrea
Agree with Andrea - especially about 36 not being older. Not sure what type of consulting you are doing at Accenture but as Andrea says - that should be great background to move into strategy consulting - especially at the entry level. Also - strategy is a broad term. Narrowing down to which strategic issues you would like to consult on may be helpful.
Andrea, Matt, thank you so much for the advice. I will have to think about how to narrow my strategy career scope. I am still new to the industry and am not sure of all of the different paths within that realm as I have mainly been tech/telecommunications focused in my career.
Andrea, I have messaged you with my resume, and also sent you a message on Linkedin.
