I am looking for a resource (other than O-Net) that can translate all of my skills and experiences and provide recommendations to which jobs would maximize those skills to assist me in narrowing the focus of my search for my next career.

Google has a very basic translator. Some entries were better than O-NET, some weren't. So with that said, I've been using the ones already mentioned above, and using the "most civilian" sounding translation. And one last thing, networking with other Chiefs from your functional area that already made that move, can be super beneficial. Their experience with translating and getting into positions like what you would like to can help take a lot of guess work off of your plate.
Hi Kevin:
I am part of a Veterans Business Resource group at my company (Schneider Electric). Part of the mission of the group is to ensure that our recruiters are looking at military veterans and are able to translate military experience to civilian job requirements. Our recruiters do have military-specific recruiting events. I have found that other large companies have similar initiatives that focus on veteran recruiting/retention.
That being said, you could approach your job search by focusing on the industry/career path you are interested in, then research what veteran-focused events/job postings are relevant and attack from there. Here is a link to our military veteran recruiting page: https://www.schneider-electric.us/en/about-us/careers/military-careers.jsp
Good Luck!
Kevin,
Lockheed Martin has a translator utility that may be worth investigating recognizing that its focus may be narrower that what you desire as it is specific to the aerospace and defense industry. That said, I am a big "nothing ventured, nothing gained" kind of guy. :) Good luck!
