Good Afternoon Ma'am:
I would recommend using linkedin; Indeed.com; health system job advertisements on their websites; and state job boards. I am retired 68W SFC, who works in health care regulatory management (TJC, DOH, CMS) for my health care network in PA. I have found that our field has a few ways to get employment; headhunters who seek you out; direct applications; or state websites. Getting on linkedin will help you with your network; however, I have found direct health care systems to be the method that gets the most results. I created a CV template for applications and spent a few hours a day applying to multiple places (i was willing to relocate anywhere). USajobs is an ok resource if you would like to be a GS and continue your federal service. I believe the biggest hurdle is asking yourself, where you want to work, for whom, and what you want your case load to look like.
Are you seeking a role only in the Pompano Beach area? What are your geographic restrictions?
With your credentials I would suggest that you identify which facilities/organizations in each city you think you might be interested in and call their Human Resources Office - they will put you in direct contact with their recruiter.
You will be made offers from all of them (NPs are in very high demand) and you will be able to determine which organization you want to work for and which offer is the best for you.
If you need someone to review your resume i would be glad to help.
