Does anyone have experience with any of the online coding bootcamps (Lambda School, Flatiron School, Udemy,... etc)? I'm interested in a good self paced program for full stack developer.
Answers
LamdaSchool is a great option, if you can get in.
It's backer is a top notch Techie & Entrepreneur, https://twitter.com/tommycollison
Do not over think it, get in and put the effort once in it.
Group courses are much better than self-paced, even if high quality one like at Coursera.
Finally, at latter stages, do some algo/problem prep in your one language, likely JS
All the best
Adam - I'm not a programmer but I took a free course in Python just to challenge myself. Alison.com offers free, self-paced courses. Here is the one I took:

I would also try Edx.org as you can audit just about every course for free.
Best of luck.
Hi Adam,
Thank you for your service and your question! I don't have any personal experience with coding classes, but I did a search on ACP AdvisorNet for "online coding" and found the following question: https://acp-advisornet.org/questions/4014/where-or-what-best-class-take-first-when-getting-it-security.
The answer posted references code.org as well as codeacademy.com. You may also find it helpful to search within the "Community" tab for advisors with a background in cybersecurity, and you can message them directly.
I hope this helps! Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.
Best,
Megan
