How to get funding to start a courier business without taking a loan?

Veteran

Ernest Clark Suwanee , GA

I will need about $8,000 dollars to purchase a good used cargo van to start a courier business. Currently, I am working with the Small Business Association to finalize my business plan. I am also seeking set aside contracts for veteran owners.

Hi Ernest,

Thanks for posting your question! I'm not sure how you'd be able to secure funding without a loan, but I was able to find this article online for you that may have some suggestions you haven't tired.

You can try reaching out to your local VA and see if they have any additional suggestions.

Finally, have you tried utilizing our community resource page to connect with advisers who may have some small business experience? Someone who has secured funding themselves would probably have a good idea where to start. Head to our community tab and see if anything pops out there.

Thanks again for posting, and feel free to reach out with any additional questions!

Best,
Jessica
