If possible I would like to work for Federal employment, but the civilian sector has a lot of good companies to work for as well. I am open to any suggestions any one might have regarding translating military experience into resume material as I have difficulty determining where I fit in and how to present my experience and qualifications in a valuable manner.

Did you know that every veteran can provide an employer with a tax incentive when hired?
Probably not. Veteran incentives could be $9,600. Most employers don't know they are entitled to this tax benefit either.
