My situation is I am divorced father of 6 kids and I am trying to find a job in Washington State near the Tri-Cities area, where my kids, but I am not having any luck finding anything other then temp work that leads nowhere.
I feel like I am going to have to move away from them without something permanent and that is something I want to avoid, but I might have to do soon if things don't improve for me

Hi Douglas,
Have you considered business ownership? As a career transition coach I help people define their lifestyle goals and possible vehicles to help them achieve those goals. Business ownership often gives people the control and flexibility they need. There are many options out there other than starting from scratch with a million dollar idea. I would be happy to discuss it with you further.

Hi Douglas,
If you send me your resume I will review. There are organizations that help vets in a variety of ways including job search. Check out website military .com. They have relationships with a number of companies that give hiring preference to vets. You can put in city and search open jobs.

Hi Douglas:
You will need to have a skill set that matches an in-demand job in the geographic area. I don't have much information from you on your skill set or career goals, therefore feel free to call me and we can discuss in more detail, (775) 720-8415. Talking with local recruiters are a great way to assess demand for different career paths.
Very best,
Scott
