I am about to complete my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in a couple of weeks, and I am looking at so many programs. I will be transitioning out of the Army in early 2014 with the hopes that I will already have a job lined up, so I am looking to take a part-time, evening or even online MBA program. I am willing to look at private schools, but I don't want to blow up my bank account either, so a very willing Yellow Ribbon school would be preferred. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Robin,
You make some great points, and I hope other transitioning veterans are taking notes. I am leaning toward programs that I can use for my GI Bill and Hazlewood Act (Texas Vets should know what I mean). I read through the Yellow Ribbon program, and each school has different contribution levels. The vast majority of Yellow Ribbon schools still don't contribute enough to cover all expenses. Thanks for the assistance and good luck!

John,
I should be settling down in the Houston area. I am, however, open to an online option. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Robin,
Thank you for sending the link, and I agree with some of the article. Simply getting an MBA and relying solely on the degree to get a job is irresponsible. I believe you need to have a genuine purpose for getting and be working at a large firm. I disagree with the notion that only 5 schools are worth going to. But that's just me.

James,
What part of the country will settle? I highly recommend a mix of on-line and traditional settings.
Carlson School of Business in Minnesota has a great program. I believe they cover some if not all of the difference from what your GI bill would cover. They are a yellow ribbon school
