You might want to review this article. Keep in mind the sole purpose of a LI profile is to have them request your resume, which you then target to the position they have asked you to send it for. If it means requesting the job description or the posting, this will help greatly. Too much is actually worse, than too little. But what is there needs to be in the language of the civilian career.
