Transitioning from the Army back to Greensboro, NC and would love to make some professional connections in the area. My career interest is in Program and Project management and I'd like to see how we could possibly add value to each others network. Thanks

Hi Roddney - thank you very much for your service and for using ACP AdvisorNet! Have you been to our Community tab on this site yet? In that section, you can search for Advisors by industry, experience and geographic location, so it might be a helpful tool for you to use to find professionals within program and project management in the Greensboro area. Once you find these Advisors, you could privately message them to discuss ways to network.
You may have already come across this, but ACP has another program that might be helpful for you as well. Our formal Veteran Mentoring Program is open to those who have served at least 180 days on Active Duty orders since September 11th, 2001. It is a free, yearlong, one-on-one mentorship with a corporate professional in your area of interest. If you meet this requirement and would like to discuss this program in greater detail, please send me a private message or feel free to directly apply at: http://www.acp-usa.org/mentoring-program/veteran-application.
Lastly, there may be organizations and groups on LinkedIn that could be beneficial to join. Both The Project Management Network as well as PMO - Project Management Office have huge followers so if you joined one, you could search for and connect with other members in your area.
Thank you again for your service and for using ACP AdvisorNet. I hope this was helpful!
All the best,
Sarah

Hi Roddney - your question is "geo"-centric. If there were more than one more person in your geographic specification that reads this forum, I would be surprised. You might find more responsive clientele on LinkedIn by searching for employees for companies that are located in Greensboro.
