A friend of mind as well as an Army veteran and myself have started or at least filed the paperwork for the 501c3 to the IRS for nonprofit eowrun.org
We are looking for ways to get grants and who might be able to give us those grants.
As well as looking to network to help grow our FB page at EOW Run Inc and to see who would like to help us grow in the future.

Interesting idea. I looked at your FB page (needs a pithy "About" section) and website (attractive design). I suggest following nonprofit experts Beth Kanter and Kivi Leroux Miller on FB and their e-mail lists. Also have a look at the books and info from Nolo Press on nonprofits.
Grantmakers are looking for nonprofits with a strong purpose, so you might re-visit how you describe your organization. Also, they love nonprofits who have established meaningful partnerships.
And the SCORE idea is right-on. Keep up the good work!
Hello Mike,
Thank you for your service! A good resource for continuing to grow your business would be SCORE, which has numerous resources and articles on the topic. Their "Library" section includes articles both on online marketing and on acquiring funding. The VA also has a site for small business owners to find helpful resources - including funding!
