Growing Forces LLC is an employment agency for military veterans. We currently have veterans searching for employment throughout the country. Having a difficult time finding the right employers.

Hi Raymond... Reaching out through ACP AdvisorNet is a great start! in fact, I am looking for veterans that are interested in owning their own juice bars. I own a juice bar in Marietta Georgia #Whey2Go and am planning to expand in lower income communities that don't have enough healthy options. I would love to talk to you about some potential candidates you may have here in Georgia.
At least here in Florida, the state-sponsored "employment agency" bends over backwards to help vets - they will even assign a "vet rep" to personally help you. Hard to imagine that YOUR state does not have said resource . . . . go explore! [Here is the FL web site: https://www.employflorida.com/vosnet/Default.aspx?plang=E]
In NY State area I'd recommend http://www.labor.ny.gov/home/
It includes NYS State jobs.
I agree whith John Green questions, it's a good start.
There are so many of them in the Supply Chain and Logistics industry. Lead by Walmart, Werner Trucking, JB Hunt, and many others. Just search the web at http://ittybittyurl.com/1P1z for the top 100 vet friendly companies. Good luck. Reach out if you need assistance with resume and/or LinkedIn profiles or connections in the Logistics industry in specific cities, contact me at tim@feemsters.com.
Raymond,
I just did a Google search; Companies recruiting veterans and got a list of resources.
It would be better to search by your chosen career field.
Good luck,
Questions I would ask the seeker :
1. Are you unable to secure a position with all the jobs posted online ? Have you prepared an intelligent response to any post ?
2. With the headhunters calling / emailing daily , how many calls or emails did you get yesterday? How many did you reply to ?
3. Do you get interviews ? What feedback do you receive ?
4. Do you have a web presence (ie your own website) ?
5. Have you trained in a demanded skill ? See Robert Half guides, obviously the higher paid jobs are in more demand : https://www.roberthalf.com/workplace-research/salary-guides
6. Since being unemployed, have you volunteered or schooled anywhere ?
7. What is your goal ? What is your ideal job ?
