I am trying to get into the HealthCare or Procurement/Supply-Chain. Because I have only education and not much experience, I need someone in these areas who could review my resume and cover. If anyone is good at it, I would very much appreciate.

I suggest you ask James Sipprell for feedback. He just wrote an excellent article "Transition Condition" on resumes. He knows how to get results. This is must reading for all of our members.
After some 25 plus years actually in "Supply Chain", Procurement and Contracts, here is my "two cents".
Look to start at the bottom: Junior buyer or some such. Don't be too fussy about which industry . You need to get "Hands-On" experience. Later you can be more selective. Take night courses in Supply Chain at a recognized college or university. Join the Supply Chain organization - (good for contacts) Find a mentor, (there are plenty around to help ex-military folks), who can help you advance. I will if you ask. Good luck.
Hi, the top one half of the first page of your resume should contain the most important information for prospective employers. Your customized cover letters should address specific requirements for the job that you are applying for. Please feel free to message me with both docs. With thanks, Leslie
Hi DF,
More than happy to review your resume. Please send through private message. Also J&J is hiring Procurement & Supply Chain functions at Tampa, FL location. Check out the J&J job site.

I have taught resume-writing in college business classes and have been an evaluator/interviewer for many jobs for very large institutions. Here's my distillation: Resume evaluators are looking primarily for performance rather than positive-sounding, self-aggrandizing claims. As a result, I recommend that, even if your experience is rather limited, look for things you can quantify.
Example of weak statement: I understand supply-side economics and am very good at it.
Example of strong statement: I was able to cut 12% off our typical turn-around time from order to delivery.
Good luck, and thank you truly for your service.

While I don't have any experience in the industries you mentioned, I do have a Master's in HR, and have worked as a Career Consultant for an Outplacement firm. I would be happy to provide feedback on your resume. You can forward it to me at gbaccetti@hotmail.com. Hope I can be of some help! Gail Baccetti
Would be happy to take a look and offer some pointers...more than 20 years in healthcare with five systems, I have seen a few things.
Thank you for your service, you can contact me at crh@uconn.edu if I can be of service to you
I have been in healthcare operations and worked very closely with supply chain professionals my entire careers
Send me the resume and I will review it and do next you with some folks.
Remember, the resume is a static form of promoting yourself and marketing yourself. You need to network like crazy and reach out to that battle buddy network n

THanks Kelly. I'm having my resumes reworked currently. I have targeted the government a ton. Thank you so much for your other advice though. Good Day.
With your military background, you may want to consider federal employment.
1. You receive a preference during the hiring process (for most applications);
2. You can buy back your time towards retirement.
My company provides free resume critiques to all military service members. You can submit your resume to us via email or by using our secure online submission form:

Please allow 3-5 business days for completion. We use two different formats for corporate and federal applications. I can send you examples of each to get you started.
