Would like to pursue a career with the Federal Government in one of the titles while trying ot obtain my Masters in Supply Chain Mgmt. but don't think I have enough good experience experience in those areas or enough bait to attract a good professional employer. I have 3 degrees already (2 associates: one in General Studies and another in Business Admin and a bachelors in General Studies). Please give your advice if you kindly will. Thx.

Also would like to know, and have question: I may not have much time of the monies or time (as I am getting older and need to really get cracking at finding a professional level job with a reputable employer who specializes or has a facet in the Professional level Buyer-Specialist /Procurement Agent area and for that matter take on an older worker to )obtain an MBA but have researched the information. Due to what degrees I already said I have, a college around where I stay offers an MBA with emphasis on Supply Chain Management which will have classes in the class line-up/curriculum pertaining to Buying and Procurement; will the certificate in Supply Chain Mgmt. plus a Professional Buyers certification class be sufficient to spark a potential employers interests or attempting to obtain the whole MBA degree be the best bet?
Thank you all for your replies esp. Mr. Prabath Boteju. Right on the money for the needed resource!
Buyer specialist
Hi Errol,
I recommend looking at glassdoor.com for Buyer, Account Payable, Purchasing Specialist, Procurement Specialist, and Purchasing Agent. With your degree program, I would also look into Operations Management, Supply Chain Specialists, and Material Planner/Buyer.
Best of luck!
Kristin
Errol, go to Google..enter.....federal jobs vs military. Look down starting with the second article. Looks like a great deal of info you are looking for.
