We recently relocated to Austin Texas to live closer to family, and I am looking for work. My background is in state government legacy data collection modernization, and web application development projects as either a PM, BA, or product sponsor. I'm also a good troubleshooter. I'm connected with the local PMI and IIBA organizations, and I am attending PD events for networking opportunities. I'm also applying for 3-5 jobs a day. I just obtained my Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification, and I'm now attending a PMP class to prepare and sit for the PMP exam.
Thoughts on good local small or large companies that prefer hiring veterans?
