Actively Searching for IT Jobs in Japan

Advisor

David Morgan Shreveport , LA

Would anyone happen to know of any IT openings available in Japan at the moment? I have looked everywhere (USAJobs, Clearancejobs, LinkedIn, etc.). A little about myself is, I currently have an active DoD Secret Security clearance and I am DoD 8570 compliant due to my CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Security+ certification. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Management from Trident University International from Cypress, CA in which I completed on Sept. 28, 2014. Lastly, I am currently 5 classes from completing my Information Technology Management Master’s Degree (Project Management concentration) and predict to have this completed within the next year (Jan 2016). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

David: Also try targeting US based companies with facilities or job openings in Japan. It's possible that not all of their openings are posted to USAJOBS.gov but may be viewed on the companies website.

Glad to help David...also try Maspro Denko in Nagoya if no go with the Feds. Also look at DOD contractor ATK/OA (Virgina based).
While the Japanese Constitution outlaws offensive forces, the new Japanese Prime Minister is going big on the military.

Neil, thank you for your response. I am currently applying for GS positions in Japan at the moment however, due to me being a 5 point veteran, I am extremely low on the totem pole in regards to Government hiring (like most people who apply). All I can do is keep trying I guess. Thanks again sir, have a great day.

Having been a US guy who worked for Itoch..(Japan's largest trading company)
I would be surprised the big guys in Japan industry would hire an IT worker from the US...I would go USAJOBS.Gov and try to work for the State Department in Japan.
