This question goes along with the same website as I ask in my other question. www.kens10000milesforchildhoodcancer.com So the guy that is riding across the country has spent a lot of money and I am trying to figure out the best way to ask individuals to help sponsor or fund the ride. I have a link on the website to donate to the cyclist, but it ain't getting much attention. So I need to know how to ask without begging for people to donate to the cause and to the guy riding the bicycle. And thoughts?

Krystal, thanks again for the help. So, I do a little advertising on Facebook for the ride. I found a site the other night that allowed me to just search social media platforms so I did/ I searched for childhood cancer pages. I got tons of them. The past two days I have been going to those pages and messaging admin to see if they would put out the info I was trying to get out. It is helping. We also honor children that have suffered and we do a blog post and they are the hero/ angel of the day and we have been getting more submissions on that side. Set up a go fund which got a couple of donations. We have been shared quite a bit, but just aint nobody wanting to donate hardly. I'm surprsed to, just because of the cause he is riding for. But, we'll keep plugging away hopefully something will happen. If not I guess he might have to stop and work or something. Thanks again.
Have you tried links in social media - Facebook, Twitter, etc? Also asking people to share those links even if they can't donate. I volunteer with a non profit and get tons of shares from my friends even when I've tapped them financially - those shares go a long way.
