Are there any schools/organizations that offer free courses for PMP, and Lean Six Sigma? If so, I would be tremendously blessed to know how I can apply myself.

You might check out your local chapter of PMI. The local chapters I belonged to held workshops on PMP prep and other topics.

Hello Shawn,
I suggest looking at www.moresteam.com. This site has many Six Sigma and Lean tools, tutorials and case studies. Best place to start is the Knowledge Center tab. The Toolbox tutorials are very good and give you the key tools used in the DMAIC process, the core process for all Quality projects.
Best of luck.

Good Morning, Shawn and thanks for serving our country.

I did some research on your inquiry and discovered there is a wide variety of universities offering internet courses leading to certifications in both PMP and Lean Six Sigma. Eventually, these can then be used, should you choose, as a foundation in securing a degree in supply-chain management.

The one with which I'm mildly familiar, only because my nephew is part of the administrative staff, is Franklin University. Franklin has campuses in Ohio and Indiana but they seem to have an extensive internet presence. My guess is you could probably find schools closer to your home with similar offerings, particularly if you choose to pursue a degree after your Lean Six Sigma certification. Obviously, location is not an issue if you want to obtain the certifications using Internet courses.

Regardless, please contact me if you'd like to discuss further and good luck in your career search.
Best regards, Pat Hollis
