Hi Michael, I'd be happy to help craft a resume for you. Please feel free to send me the specifics of the various roles and responsibilites you had over your military career to felices1@verizon.net. I'd also suggest once you have a resume you are happy with to also build a Linked In profile at https://www.linkedin.com/. Thank you very much for your service.
Hi Michael,
I am a career counselor working with several veteran groups helping vets transition into the civilian workforce. If you send me a copy of whatever resume you have, I would be glad to come back you with some suggestions.

Michael,
MS Word, a part of Microsoft Suite, has excellent examples to start a good resume. There you will find the different types of resumes that you can consider. With 26 years it sounds like you should consider the chronological resume example. Just remember, no employer wants to see a resume that is used for any other business. So make sure you address each resume to that specific business. Thanks for your service.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your service! Building a resume to cover 26 years can seem overwhelming, but I assure you it can be done! I'd be happy to help you get started and answer questions you may have. Feel free to email me at Stephanie_Arnold@cargill.com or send me a message here on ACP. Any sort of resume draft you may have would be really helpful, as would an idea of what type of civilian career you're looking to get into.
Best,
Stephanie Arnold
