What type of jobs will I be qualified for with a bachelors in communications?

i love advertising....well anything, if I like it. I would rather do advertising in person than online or creating business cards or flyers. When I was in the Marines I was pretty much a walking advertisement for the iPhone. I loved showing people all the features and how simple it was and actually got a lot of people to switch from android to apple. That's when I decided that I would love to do this as a career. What type of degree should I pursue for something like this?

If I introduce you to a friend in the advertising industry, do you commit to interacting with mentors, providing updates, providing feedback re: suggested tasks an dour advice, answering our questions and as needed asking follow up questions?

And if I help set up informational interviews, do you commit to completing a typed After Action Review after each II, and sending a thank you note to the person who generously provide their time to you?

The school I applied for doesn't have a degree specifically for advertising. it falls under marketing and then advertising and marketing fall under the communications degree.
