I would like to know if there is anybody out there who can help me connect to one of the major hospitals in Louisville (Kentucky) for my clinical rotations. My school is only affiliated with the Army medical center at Fort Knox which is 25 miles away from where I live.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

I second Charles' comments. In medicine, people are rushed to make decisions. If you can instigate a personal interaction, you will likely be interviewed. Also, if you know anyone who has a job somewhere you would like to work, ask them to deliver your resume or to make introductions. Most places will give financial bonuses if current employees can recruit good new employees.
Be proactive. Do not wait for an opening to be advertised. Call every medical facility that use your skills. Most hospitals have a personnel department but find out the name of the person who is in charge of the department you wish to work in. Call that dept. Ask for the name of the person who does the hiring. Do not be referred to the Personnel Dept. Get the name. Hang up. Call back. Ask for that person. Say it is, "personal". Do not talk to anyone but the person who does the hiring. Talk to him/her. Ask for an appointment even if there are no current openings. Sell your skills, education, work habits, personality. Last of all, complete an application. Keep moving. It's a numbers game. The more interviews, the more possibilities. It's simple but not easy. Be different.
