You might want to check with DHS. They have a "group" (not sure what they designate it as) called Infrastructure Protection. Their mission is all about physical security. You can check USAJobs.gov for openings, but I still know a few folks there. Contact me directly and I can get you some contact info.

Also, if you are open to moving elsewhere, there are a number of contractors that do this kind of work as well (not Blackwater types) who mostly work with the private sector.
