About Danny
I am 36 years old, soon to be 37, and have only been in the Army Reserves for 6 years...and just reenlisted for 6 more. I have been in manufacturing for almost 20 years and although I like it, I aspire to be more than just a production worker. I feel I know enough about how the business works that I would be a great team lead or even a supervisor. But I'm always told that I don't have the experience.
I have a thirst for knowledge. If I could learn something new every day, I would. I have been to school for massage therapy, bartending and even CPA....but where I live, there isn't much call for either of those things. So, I stay in manufacturing.
I love to exercise....mostly running. However, I am hoping to start crossfit very soon. To my knowledge, there aren't any gyms in my area, so I will more than likely be creating my own. I would love to buy a small piece of land (at least 1 acre) where I could build my own gym rather than paying gym fees forever....plus, I could get all the cool new equipment I see in the stores that they don't have in the gym.
I am currently getting ready to start back to school to major in mechatronics. Although I have all of the other training under my belt, mechatronics is something I could truly see myself making a living with. And of course, anytime I have the means to learn something else, I will definitely give it a shot. A few weeks ago, I almost decided to take a few vacation days from work to go to a class about beekeeping...but I didn't. Maybe another time.
