Extensive experience in creating, developing and executing strategic plans with Inter-agency (USAID, OFDA, etc) partners for assessment, consolidation, cost reduction and improving the value of organizational performance, employee productivity and profitability. Responsible, outgoing, enthusiastic, innovative and motivated Civil Affairs Officer/Project Manager with solid convictions, morals and business ethics with a style that inspires teamwork and common sense problem solving at the lowest level.
Extensive expertise on International Relations, Latin America, executive planning, project management, and training development. background in education and curriculum development, having led the Army’s Civil Affairs School, and served as Director of Civil-Military Studies for foreign visiting students from Latin America.
Highly effective at developing and integrating cross-functional teams while building and sustaining relationships throughout an organization with a history of proven success in multi-faceted results driven organizations. I have deployed to, implemented, and directed numerous project management programs in Colombia, South America, throughout Central America, Afghanistan, and the Horn of Africa – ranging from combating terrorism with Special Operations Forces, support of humanitarian and civic assistance projects, consequence management, disaster/crisis response, relief of civilian suffering, stability operations, to international peacekeeping. Managed a budget over $70 million dollars in humanitarian projects around the world. Retired Civil Affairs Officer from the US Army and pursuing a MBA in International Relations.
