About Brent

I have investigated insurance fraud for over eighteen years and currently manage a team of investigators for a large insurance company.

I am also very active within the fraud fighting community. My volunteer activities include:
- IASIU (www.iasiu.org) Board of Directors, Website chair and eNews editor,
- three-term Past President of the local Texas-South IASIU chapter (www.tasiu.org),
- educational committees with CLM (www.theclm.org) and NHCAA (www.nhcaa.org),
- frequent speaker and author on antifraud topics for peer organizations and publications.

My background also includes law enforcement and military service:
- USMC 0311 and assignment to a reserve Surveillance and Target Acquisition Platoon,
- current reserve detective,
- past roles as a patrol officer, SWAT, marine patrol, dive team and honor guard.

I also hold several professional designations, certifications and licenses.
