About Richard
Richard Eckles is President and Founder of Pipe Dogs Inc., an oil & gas pipeline leak detection company. He is a retired U.S. Navy veteran of 21 years. His experience was as a Military Working Dog explosive/narcotic detector dog handler, trainer, and kennel master. Knowing first hand the dogs’ exceptional detection capabilities, he saw a great chance to bring those capabilities to the oil & gas industry. Richard is married to Iris and has 3 boys Zackary, 15, Elijah 12 and Isaiah 7. Retired to Bozeman Montana. He loves hunting and fishing.
