I hold the MAI designation (Member of the Appraisal Institute)/my special appraisal practice was Income producing properties. I served in the United States Marine Corps 1946-1948, as a Sgt., during the last 6 months of The War in the Pacific (WWII Veteran), Marine Garrison Forces Pacific, on Guam, MI. I worked in Industrial Development (NPRR) for 5 years; and as VP of a bank financing income property real estate (Seattle Trust & Savings Bank) for 5 years. Following those years I became self employed. I currently act as pro bono President of Fergus Associates, Inc., managing mineral rights in various counties in Montana. My wife and I have three grown children, all employed as a chemical engineer, an accountant, and a human resources manager. I have been married for 63 years, and hold BBA degree from the business school at the University of Washington.
