About Keir

I served in the Coast Guard for five years and was involved in everything from maritime search and rescue to homeland security. In addition to fulfilling these missions, I became an engineer who was responsible for vessel maintenance. I served at a search and rescue station in Virginia and in New York City.

During my tour of duty, I pursued college on a part time basis with the goal of attending medical school. Within a year of my discharge, I earned my degree in biology and was accepted to medical school. I made the decision to pursue a opportunity to earn a second bachelors in financial Economics at Columbia University.
