About Thomas
BS from Ball State Univ. I joined Fred DeVoe Chevrolet in 1972 after 2 years in the Army including Viet Nam. I worked one year at GMAC collecting past due accounts and joined my father in business at Fred DeVoe Chevrolet. I worked there as used car sales manager, new and used car sales manager. I became president in 1990 (father retired) until my retirement in 2007. I was responsible for the marketing, new vehicle ordering, and all the major administration decisions. I hired most positions, purchased in house computer systems, and bid out our health and garage keepers insurance yearly. Basically all the jobs necessary to run a small business with 28 employees fell to the owners so i have experience at a variety of things.
