32 year member of the National Guard. Soon to be a retired Colonel. 16 years active. Served at the 2-Star command level for over 10 years, three overseas deployments and the relief of New Orleans. Master Plumber and Journeyman Pipe Fitter. Hold degrees in Psychology (BA) and a Masters in Criminal Justice. Air War College graduate. Special skills are plans writing and program development and management. Author of three books on ethics, disaster preparedness, and the role of the military in support of civilian authority.
