About Rickzon

I did 8 yrs in active duty Navy where I served as an airman for USS KittyHawk's air department V-1 division removing and installing aircraft tie-down chains and tow bars for 3 yrs then upon transfer to my first helicopter anti-submarine squadron I got assigned to flight line division where I worked as an aircraft worker washing aircraft, moving it to different locations (i.e. flight line, hangar bay, wash rack) for 3 yrs and after that I was transferred to another helicopter squadron where the sole mission is to train pilots and aircrew personnel. During my time on that squadron I was a corrosion control technician, aircraft painter, and a low-level quality assurance inspector. After active duty I affiliated with the Navy to continue my service on a one weekend a month two weeks a year basis. I was able to transfer all of my qualification to another helicopter squadron providing torpedo recovery until the squadron's mission got changed to special warfare support which was the original mission. During my time on that squadron I was promoted as a second-class petty officer in 2008 then activated for a year and served as a night shift supervisor. I developed a passion for flying when I joined a model rc aircraft and decided to fly multirotor aircraft that until now I'm still enjoying. So far I have built two ready-to-fly aircraft and one is on the build phase. My interest in multirotor started when I first bought my quadcopter from a hobby store in San Diego, CA called Discount Hobby Warehouse. I graduated with an Associates of Science in Computer Drafting and Design that I'm currently using to design multirotor frames as a hobby where I currently have 6 designs and looking for manufacturers to fabricate 1 aircraft for test purposes.
