About John (Casey)
My career in financial services began when I graduated from college. I started in a commercial bank training program which was interrupted by being called to serve in the US Army. I attended Benning's Infantry Officer Basic, Airborne School and then Intelligence School in Maryland. My first assignment was with the 502nd Military Intelligence Battalion in Korea after which I was assigned to Ft. Polk and subsequently was discharged. I was a captain when my reserve obligation was completed. I returned to Chemical Bank where I spent the next 25 +years rising to the level of Managing Director. When my position was eliminated, I joined Geneva Financial as a Vice Chairman. I was subsequently enticed to join AIG . My next position was with Chase Private Banking, then with a registered investment advisor and in 2006 I joined TD Wealth Management as the head of wealth management for Connecticut and Westchester County.
I joined Merrill Lynch in Greenwich, CT in late 2014 and look forward to many years of working with clients to help them understand what is needed to allow them to retire, stay young so as to enjoy their grandchildren and enjoy the fruits of their working years.
