About Patti
I've been in the legal field for 25 years, as a legal secretary, docket coordinator, manager and now practice group director. I focus in intellectual property, particularly patents, but also work with attorneys who handle trademarks, trade secrets, domain names, and copyrights. I can answer questions on becoming a legal assistant, paralegal, attorney, and anything in between, whether in law firms or in company legal departments. I'm a native Californian, and went to school at Berkeley and San Jose State. On a personal note, I like to read, play the piano, work out, and go out to dinner (eating being my favorite past-time!).
