Major Duties:
The incumbent works within a team environment.
Serves as a decision maker for claims involving rating decisions.
Collaborates with other members of his/her work team participating in personal hearings before the board.
Responsible for developing viewpoints and reconciling differences of opinions and assists with the training of new members.
Incumbent is responsible for analyzing claims to make determinations regarding serviceconnection, percentage of disability, permanent and toal disability and entitlement to compensation, pension and vocational training, medical and dental treatment, automobiles.
