I was in the Air Force from 1989 to 1999. I was an 1N2X1, morse code specialist. Since I got out, I went back to school and got both my Bachelors and Associates degrees after using a program that assisted in my transition, whidh failed miserably. I have done nothing but contract work and haven't had permanent work since graduating in 2005. I have gone for long periods of time with no work. I also didn't get much assistance either. I always interviewed well and was appreciated for my military service but it was never good enough. I recently tried to get help through the VA for employment assistance and they were of no help either because I came to them too late, supposedly. I am considered a disabled vet with a 10% service connected rating due to my work, but even that doesn't help.
