About Hardee

Colonel Green was commissioned Regular Army in the Ordnance Corps. He attended the Ordnance Officer Basic Course (OBC) and Advanced Course (OAC). He was assigned to 545th Ordnance Company (Special Weapons), 59th Ordnance Brigade Muenster, Germany; and the 515th Ordnance Company (Special Weapons) Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, where he served as an Operations Officer. He was reassigned to 832d Ordnance Battalion where he served as a Combat Developments Staff Officer. In 1993 he attended the Combined Arms Staff Service School (CAS3) with follow-on duty as a Company Commander Echo Company, 832d Ordnance Battalion for 19 months.

COL Green return OCONUS Jul 1996- Jul 1998 serving as the S1, 417th Base Support Battalion, 98th ASG in Kitzingen, Germany, and then as Maintenance and Supply Officer 701st Main Support Battalion (MSB), 1st Infantry Division and subsequently as the Battalion S2/3 Officer, 701st MSB, 1st Infantry Division.

From Aug 1998-Jun 1999 attended the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth Kansas.

From Jul 1999- Jul 2001 assigned as the Division Ammunition Officer (DAO) for the DISCOM, 101st Air Assault Division; and Executive Officer for 426th Forward Support Battalion (FSB), 101st AASLT DIV.

From Jul 2001- Jul 2003 next assignment was the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) Ft Polk, LA where he served as the Support Operations Observer Controller (O/C) and the Senior FSB O/C preparing Brigade Combat Teams (BCTs) for deployment.

From Jul 2003- Jul 2006 assigned as the USJFCOM J3/4 Senior Logistics Observer Trainer (O/T), Deployable Training Team, training COCOM Staff’s and JTF’s during a Unified Endeavor Exercise or Mission Rehearsal Exercise.

From Jul 2006 - Jun 2008 commanded the Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD), Hawthorne, NV. The Department of Defense (DOD’s) largest ammunition storage facility encompassing over 2,800 buildings; 80 Family Housing units; the Western Area Demilitarization Facility; on over 147,000 acres and employing over 500 civilian and contractor personnel with a $40 million annual contract budget.

From Jul 2008- Jul 2009 assigned to HQDA G4 serving as an Senior Logistics Planner/ Staff Action Officer.

From Jul 2009 -Jul 2010 deployed to Bagdad Iraq serving as the Chief, Army Training Division, United States Forces-Iraq.

From JuL 2010-Jul 2011 assigned to HQ, Army Material Command as the G-3/5 Security Officer and the Initiatives and Integration Group Senior Staff officer.

From Jul 2011-Present assigned to HQDA G-1 serving as the Chief Plans and Operations Hurman Resources Policy Directorate.
