About Jane

I started working after being a housewife for 11 years. First as a file clerk, worked up to accountant, had a tax practice ((I was enrolled to practice before the IRS) for 8 years until I sold it, got a degree at 46 and went to work in the California State University System for the non-profits on campus. I worked at 3 campuses and the Office of the Chancellor.

The key to being successful in business is obtaining the minimum required skills for a particular position and attitude with a capital A. Also asking questions. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I have found that other people have the same questions but are afraid to ask the question because they might sound stupid. Asking questions is brilliant.

If someone asks you to do something don't say "I don't do that." Say I am not sure but let me find out for you what you need to do or who you can talk to. It is all about attitude.
