About Kenneth
I'm a Naval Academy graduate (1991) and former Surface Warfare Officer (SWO). After leaving the Navy I went into financial services for 6 years with HSBC (formerly Household Financial) holding positions in finance, sales, and IT. I'm an entrepreneur at heart and started my first business, 2 franchise coffee shops, in 2006. I sold the businesses 2 years later but really loved the experience. I have very young children (one with special needs) so I decided to regroup and work at United Airlines while looking for my next business venture. I worked there in various capacities until February of this year. I am involved with a small personal care product manufacturing company in Chicago but growing the business has been slow. I need to find another job to keep my income steady while growing and nurturing my business goals.
