About Rich
I have been passionate about marketing for as long as I can remember, which led me to earn a BS degree in Marketing along with a second BS degree in Advertising from Syracuse University. My academic credentials also include earning a MS degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University.
My 20-year career has included progressively-responsible managerial and leadership roles on the corporate marketing, ad agency and management consulting sides, where I have supported 15+ well-known brands across 10+ industries. My areas of specialty include integrated marketing communications, branding, advertising, database and direct marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), customer loyalty/engagement/experience management along with many other related disciplines.
Over my career, I have also experienced a few job lay-offs and so have quite a lot understanding, perspective and appreciation for the difficulties with finding a job. As a result, I feel that I have become a savvy jobseeker and have insights and skills that I can apply in helping others, whether a new college grad seeking their first job, an industry leader who has been downsized and hasn't had to look for a job in many years, to a military veteran. Although my professional focus has been on marketing, I can still provide assistance with general job searching and career counseling that spans any one interest or focus.
