I was born in Tampa, Florida on 22 September 1976. He attended Armwood Senior High School in Seffner, Florida. I went on to attend Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on 21 January 1999, attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. on 8 March 1999.
