I was a successful sales rep in the Cardiac Division of Medtronic selling implantable pacemakers and defibrillators for approximately 15 years. The last 7-8 years, I was a hiring manager in the Dallas District. I was medically retired 3 years ago and am interested in giving back to the veterans who have given so much for our country.
I have hired 2 outstanding representatives from the Army. One was an enlisted man who served in Iraq. The second was a graduate of West Point and veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan. Both have been terrific team members with outstanding work ethics. My experience has been that veterans are very well suited for critical thinking in stressful situations. They also possess an unprecedented drive that is unmatched by many of those without their intensive training.
