I am completing a 20 year career as a naval nuclear officer and transitioning into corporate America. I am looking for a company with a great culture and great opportunity.
I have extensive engineering and management experience leading diverse teams in high-stress environments with proven results. I consider myself an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who consistently motivates diverse teams to achieve and exceed stated goals. My diverse background of both engineering and business disciplines allow for excellent management range and flexibility. I am highly motivated and goal oriented with significant skills in problem identification, root cause analysis, solution implementation, and systems improvement.

Descriptions of my most recent assignments are below:
Director, Nuclear Power School (current position) - complete responsibility for 200 staff and 3,000 students ensuring personal and professional development as they complete the Navy's most intensive academic program.
Reactor Training Assistant - Chief operations, training, and assessment manager for a department of 400. Managed and assessed training, qualification, emergency response, operational quality assurance, and issue resolution programs.
Operations Officer - Managed three divisions of 60 personnel responsible for the navigation, operation, and deck seamanship of a warship. Developed and executed all ship logistics for every training and operational commitment, coordinating internally with four departments and externally with numerous agencies, with superior results.
Officer in Charge (NC State NROTC) - Managed three lieutenants and three civilians in the instruction, administration, and development of navy midshipmen. Developed a lasting relationship with University leadership to prioritize program improvements and organize major events. Instructed naval navigation, operations, and engineering. Completed my M.B.A.
