About Joel
My name is Joel Martinez, I am a transitioning junior military officer. I am currently serving at Ft Hood, TX and am looking to pursue a career in IT-Project Management. As a Signal Officer in the US Army, I learned how to become an effective leader and consistently succeeded in completing the most challenging tasks my team was assigned by focusing on creating a cohesive environment, where output and potential were maximized. Since becoming an officer, I have refined my communication and team building skills as well as my IT technical competencies and am currently applying to grad school where I hope to earn my MBA in information systems. I have a passion for team building and seek a position in an organization where I can learn not only from the people I work for, but the teams I work with.
