About Matthew
I am in the midst of a trading job search and am a CFA Level 2 Candidate. I will consider any opportunity, but am most interested in Foreign Exchange, Commodities, and Equity Derivatives. I have an MSc in Quantitative Finance, but also have unique experience as a military officer deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq in the past three years, and am currently serving as a Comptroller at the US Embassy in Amman.
My desired position is as a hedge fund analyst. I have traded equities and options on my own for a decade, have recently passed the CFA Level 1 exam, and follow markets on a daily basis. I recently interviewed with several bulge bracket firms, the CME Group and a small hedge fund, and received an entry level offer, but ultimately chose one final adventure with my wife in the Middle East, as she works for USAID.
