About Lisa-Anne

Moved to Bay Area from East Coast and have been in the commercial insurance industry. My father was a captain in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Remained state side as nuclear / chemical scientist. I was introduced to local Veterans Remeberance Committee member at a holiday party {on my dad's birthday five years ago (week before Christmas)} volunteered to be an Elf and pass out presents to all the Livermore, CA Veterans. This was their original mission since 1924 to remember the veterans on Christmas. Since then, I've become active in their organization and Board of Directors as First VP of their Board in 2015. My mission: recruit members and volunteer, fund raise, active in community where veterans are predominant and update VRC through re-invented web design and promotional items. We decorate and present gifts to Livermore (long term) and Martinez (short term), CA as our annual event. All other activities throughout year are sponsored or hosted by our organization - Stand Down, Memorial Day and, Veterans Day to name a few other activities. My passion is out of my love and respect for my father and to my mother that both passed away too young. Donating time and volunteering to the Veterans is a continuing "pay it forward to our country" and to all those who serve and their families.
